Thinkronize, Inc., developers of netTrekker,
announce
strategic realignment to maximize and accelerate record growth
Company poised to double revenue in each of
the next three years
Cincinnati, OH - Helping K-12 students focus their online
research to educationally relevant materials is a burgeoning Internet
service sector given that 94 percent of teens report they use the
Internet for school-related projects.
Today, more than 3.7 million students from nearly 6,000 schools
in 47 states use the market-leading search engine netTrekker,
provided by Thinkronize, Inc., as their search engine of choice.
netTrekker delivers only the best educational resources
from the Internet to every desktop, saving valuable time and making
searches safe and powerfully productive.
Randy Wilhelm, president and CEO of Thinkronize, the developer
of netTrekker, today executed a strategic realignment
plan to position the company to respond to the sector’s explosive
growth. Further, the realignment sets the stage for the company’s
launch of a revolutionary new product at the National Educational
Computing Conference (NECC) in June.
The typical price for a school’s netTrekker subscription
is $1,195 per year. Combining new customer growth with forecasted
revenue from the new offering, Wilhelm is projecting the company
will double its sales revenue in each of the next three years.
“This is a remarkable time for our company as we make strategic
adjustments to the key roles the members of our leadership team
play,” said Wilhelm. “The new product is being piloted
in several schools throughout the country. And although we have
not yet launched the product, we are already booking orders with
our current customers. The outstanding reviews we are receiving
from administrators and educators alike are phenomenal. Now is
the right time to make these adjustments to further strengthen
our leadership team and to prepare to capitalize on the additional
growth that is planned and expected.”
With the realignment, Wilhelm retains the title of CEO and will
continue to lead the organization. Christine Willig, formerly vice-president
of product development with responsibility for the successful development
of netTrekker, now serves as company president. Willig
is responsible for overseeing sales and marketing for the firm.
Joe Vallo, formerly the vice-president of operations, now serves
as the chief operating officer (COO). Vallo is responsible for
product development and all internal operational areas, including
finance, legal, human resources and enterprise systems.
Donna McMullin Trivett, formerly the director of marketing, was
promoted to vice-president of marketing. She will continue to establish
the netTrekker brand as the market leader in the education
search segment, increase the company’s current market share
and begin work to anchor the brand’s presence in markets
outside the education industry.
Joel Petersen, vice president of sales for Thinkronize, who was
instrumental in generating the company’s record-breaking
growth, continues to manage all sales activities for the organization,
including directing internal staff and the company’s vast
network of distribution partners nationwide.
