“We’re so proud to be adding prestigious groups such as Blackboard, Discovery Education, ENA, PolyVision and Thinkronize to our board,” said Kay. “Their decision to join the Partnership is not only evidence of each company’s commitment to bringing 21st century skills to the nation’s K-12 students but also of the growing national momentum to ensure that U.S. students are successful citizens and workers in an increasingly globalized society and workforce.
“Today’s students need to be critical thinkers, problem solvers and effective communicators who are proficient in both core subjects and new 21st century skills. It’s essential that state educators, business leaders and policymakers work together to develop the 21st century learning outcomes that matter most to their local communities and employers.
