Christine Willig currently serves as President of Thinkronize, Inc., leading the company to record accomplishments in sales, marketing, and development under her direction, including recognition on the 2007 Inc. 5000 and 2006 Inc. 500 lists of fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

Hired to create netTrekker, the company's flagship product in 2000, Willig had a major hand in developing the multi-award-winning product and helped broaden its functionality to address homework, research, all curricular areas, and classroom needs. As Vice President of Product Development, Willig extended netTrekker's offerings from high and middle schools into elementary schools. Willig also led the first integration of state standards into a web-based product, created unique features such as the interactive timeline, famous person search, image search, and more. Willig also took netTrekker into the world of differentiated instruction by adding reading support, English-language learner support, and text-to-speech web-based technology. She also envisioned the development of netTrekker Home for the consumer market.

As President, Willig has integrated a potent blend of technical, managerial, product development, and sales and marketing expertise to deliver on Thinkronize's mission. Under her watch, Thinkronize has gained enviable market share, including two full statewide adoptions. Marketing efforts have made netTrekker synonymous with customer focus and innovation - resulting in over 20 industry awards for education excellence.

Pivotal to Thinkronize's success, Willig has also forged powerful partnerships with a variety of leading education companies including Dell Computers, McGraw-Hill, Scantron, Houghton Mifflin, Blackboard, and many more. Partnerships have expanded beyond reselling into licensing of XML, integration under the umbrella of other portal products, and deeper integration in curriculum and assessment products through state standards linkage.

Prior to Thinkronize, Willig spent 18 years at South-Western Publishing, a leading publisher of textbooks and educational materials now owned by the Thomson Corporation. In a variety of roles within K12 and higher education publishing, Willig led the production, design, development and formation of cross-functional work teams to drive innovation. There, she saw technology's power to transform learning, and drove development of pioneering curricular materials incorporating technology.

Willig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and completed Columbia University's Executive Education program. In 2006, Willig presented at the Harvard Business School's annual Dynamic Women in Business Conference and was also nominated for the NSBA Foundation.

Willig lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, and is currently adjusting to hard-earned empty-nester status, seeing their last child (of a blended family of seven children) off to college this past year.
